Gameplay Summary

EXALTD is a strategic, wave-based Tower Defense game where players must survive relentless enemy assaults by mastering turret placement, upgrades, and economic management.

Tech Demo Gameplay

Each match begins with a starting amount of gold, which players use to place elemental turrets and prepare for the incoming wave. Defeating enemies rewards more gold, allowing for real-time upgrades and new turret placements between waves.

As the game progresses, enemies become stronger, faster, and more complex—challenging players to continuously optimise their setup. Every decision matters: turret positions, upgrade paths, and synergy between elemental power types can mean the difference between survival and defeat.

As an added layer of depth, each attack has an elemental power type. These elements not only change based on the Elemental DAO, but they also apply a range of status effects. Victory isn’t just about making it through the waves—it’s about adapting efficiently and surviving the final onslaught for the greatest rewards. After each run, players earn Crystals, Stardust, and EXP, which contribute to progression both in and out of the game.
